Tyrrell Publicity and Promotions is delighted to be working with Mercure Yarra Valley Balgownie Estate Vineyard Resort and Spa in re-launching itself by joining the Accor Hotel network. Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions is working on a number of national promotional activities to promote the property’s onsite facilities such as Rae’s Restaurant, Balgownie Estate Cellar Door and Natskin Day Spa.

Grampians Tourism
Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions began work with Grampians Tourism in August 2009. Located in Victoria’s west, the Grampians has been described as ‘accessible wilderness’ making it the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors with a vast variety of drives and walks to explore. Tyrrell Publicity and Promotions is closely working with all shires that make up the Grampians region - Pyrenees Shire, Horsham Rural City Council, Northern Grampians Shire, Sothern Grampians, Ararat and Grampians Information Centre, Wartook Valley and Grampians National Park. The scope of the PR campaign includes media visits, promotional campaigns, interstate and local media events and the roll-out of a national PR campaign. Murrindindi Mitchell Bushfire Tourism Recovery Group (MMBTRG) has joined forces with Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions to promote tourism and visitation to the Murrindindi and Mitchell Regions through creative marketing campaigns.
MMBTRG’s mantra is -- ACTION NOW -- to spread the message that they are open for business, to get tourists back to the regions and to proactively assist the wide range of tourism-related businesses to rebuild and recover from a downturn in business.

Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate
Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions is very excited to be embarking upon a new partnership with the team at Phillip Island Chocolate Factory the sweetest attraction on this iconic Victorian island. The factory has unveiled a magnificent new attraction that will surpass even the most avid chocolate-lover’s fantasies. Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions source publicity opportunities, promotions and media familiarisation visits – to raise awareness and generate business for the chocolate factory.
Panny’s Amazing World of has recently undergone a multi-million dollar upgrade and is the world’s first ever interactive chocolate exhibition, where more than 150 varieties of chocolate are made on-site each year.

Tyrrell Publicity and Promotions is excited to join the Spice Island team this year, adding the Tyrrell dash of zing to promote a unique Spice Island holiday experience. This colourful Phillip Island icon encompasses a luxurious and contemporary Bed and Breakfast, a state of the art cooking school, high quality catering and the Churchill Island cafe hidden within a quaint animal farm by the water – a truly relaxing oasis.
Tyrrell Publicity and Promotions will be working closely with Spice Island in producing a creative public relations and marketing campaign, profiling Spice Island on television, radio and the print media.

Great Ocean Road Marketing
Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions first worked with the team at Great Ocean Road Marketing back in November 2007 for their campaign for the 75th Anniversary of the Great Ocean Road. The event received extensive publicity in print, radio and television mediums. Since then, the focus has moved to the Great Ocean Road in its entirety, as well as the spectacular hinterland areas further inland in the national and international media arenas. The scope of the PR campaign has included media visits and reviews, interstate and local media events and launches and the roll-out of a national PR campaign. Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions work with Great Ocean Road Marketing was recognised with us receiving the coveted 2008 Travel Journalism Award for Excellence – Best Australian Regional Tourism Organisation – at the 2008 Australian Society of Travel Writers Awards for Excellence.

Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions has been appointed as the international Public Relations consultants for Thailand’s newest hotel management consultancy – Hospitality Management Solutions – Asia Pacific. The company – which is set to launch several new resorts and hotels throughout Asia – appointed Tyrrell Publicity & Promotions because of our extensive experience in the Asian media market – having worked on the Ramada International and Air Paradise brands over the past seven years.
We have successfully launched their first two resort properties in Phuket – Raya Buri Hotel and Baan Rim Haad – to the international media and will be working on a roll-out of targeted and creative international media campaigns for their next properties coming on-line in 2008.
